A SMALL BUT MIGHTY PLACE

While bumming around Florida, I came across Valiant Air Command, a small but impressive aircraft museum near the Kennedy Space Center.  Among its many attractions is the Tico Belle, a World War 2 C-47 that is still available for rides.  Tico Belle is a survivor of three missions over Normandy on D-Day as well as Operations Market Garden and Varsity.

It’s a place well worth visiting. For those with a sense of humor, they even have a Czech L-39 Albatros painted up as a Blue Angel aircraft.

Also a North Dakota Air National Guard P-51 Mustang (junior edition).
