This may not amount to much, but it certainly helps!
The EPA recently got spanked by the Supreme Court in a highly unusual 9-0 decision. This Obama/Jackson den of eco-fascists has been beating up on the Sacketts, an Idaho couple who have been trying to build a house by a lake. At issue, apparently, was a somewhat loose application of the wetlands provision of the Clean Water Act, in that there was no water on the Sacketts’ property until one dug down twelve feet. Moreover, the Sacketts were not allowed to appeal unless they forked over $75,000 in fines per day (even after they won their case).
The decision, written up here, has been summarized as follows: “In a truly stunning and equally rare 9-0 decision, the Court overturned decades of Agencies’ jack-booted practices (and lower court rulings).”
‘Nuff said, about that, anyway. But it’s worth contemplating the notion that once evil people are allowed to gain power, it’s almost too late.
Let’s hope it’s not too late for us, and the US.
