UPDATE: The Mail Online reports that loyalists of Robert Mugabe, the Zimbabwean dictator-for-life, said that Kim Jong Il was “a lovely man” who was “chosen by his people” and held regular elections.

In 2009, Obama gave the lunatic Zimbabwean regime $79 million in “aid” to support Zimbabwe’s murderous elite, whose North Korean-trained Fifth Brigade alone has killed tens of thousands in pursuit of Mugabe’s Marxist dreams.

Yesterday, Cuba declared a three-day mourning period for Castro’s fallen comrade, Kim Jong-Il. Flags throughout the country fly at half-mast. A condolence book has been opened at the North Korean embassy in Havana for people to sign.

Cuba has had unbroken, cordial relations with its fraternal people’s socialist North Korea since 1960. Given the pathological nature of the North Korean regime, this would surely have not been so if there were significant policy differences between the two countries.

The Obama administration keeps pushing liberalized relations with Cuba.
