Ford Motor Company is suing Scuderia Ferrari for misappropriation of the legendary moniker F150 on its new pickup truck.  The new logo looks like this…

Sez Ford’s complaint filed in U.S. District Court in Detroit: “Ferrari has misappropriated the F-150 trademark in naming its new racing vehicle the ‘F150’ in order to capitalize on and profit from the substantial goodwill that Ford has developed in the F-150 trademark.”

Note the devilishly clever way those wily Iteys have made their first F150 resemble the first Ford product to bear the name:
