PrisonPlanet summarizes the twelve disasters of the Obama presidency. The summary is cogent, comprehensive — and utterly frightening. It begins like this:
Why does it seem like virtually everything that Barack Obama tries to do turns out badly? There is a reason why his approval rating has fallen so precipitously. Whether you agree with his policies or not, it is getting hard to deny that he is having a really hard time getting anything done right. Health care reform was a total disaster, the economy continues to get worse, foreign policy is an unmitigated mess and faith in the federal government is at an all-time low. Some Democrat insiders are now wondering if Barack Obama is actually losing it. There are even whispers that Barack Obama may be challenged for the Democratic nomination in 2012. That still seems far-fetched at this point, but without a doubt it is not just Republicans that are wondering about Barack Obama’s competence at this point.
The rest is just as scary, but…
If you consider the possibility that Obama sees himself as a global transformational figure, imagining himself, I suspect, as a future global duce, then these disasters on every conceivable front are really successes. The only way for Obama to get there is to destroy the one nation that stands in the way of global hegemony, namely the United States. I don’t know if this is socialist narcissism run rampant or if Obama is a willing puppet of some reactionary entity like the UN, the Socialist International, the Green movement, George Soros or even possibly Michelle Obama. But that doesn’t matter at this point. The fact is that Obama is in the White House, he and his cohorts are wreaking devastati0n on the nation, everyone except his private armies is suffering and the world is laughing at us and exploiting our weakness for all it’s worth.
The Repubs will have their hands full for the next two years, and We the People will have our hand full for the next two decades, repairing what Obama has wrought and once more putting the country on the path toward real (i.e. not progressive) progress.
A good beginning (or one of many good beginnings) would be to stop Obama from acquiring the power to apportion budget monies the way he sees fit: a.k.a. “transfer authority on appropriations” (h/t Hot Air). This would de facto allow him to assume the power of Congress to apportion federal monies without any checks and balances.
