OBAMA AND BANANAS

On May 17, 2010, Woody Allen had opined that “It would be good…if (Obama) could be dictator for a few years because he could do a lot of good things quickly…”

I’m not sure what there is to wish for.  After all, Obama and his crowd are already quite adept at doing “good things” very quickly: witness, for instance, allowing one of his more contemptible minions to refer to Jerusalem as “al Quds” a mere 1-1/2 years into Obama’s administration, refusing to meet with Prime Minister Netanyahu on equal terms (twice now) and now decreeing that the Israeli blockade of Hamassid Gaza is “unsustainable.”  In other words, the Jews are not allowed to defend themselves effectively against an enemy who boasts of a declared program of destroying Israel.  (One wonders if this a gift to Hamas for its hearty endorsement of Obama’s candidacy for president.)

The cold, hard fact is that few other pols have managed to land on the Jews as promptly and as mercilessly as our dictator-in-fact Obama.  Thanks largely to his extremist approach to the proverbial Jewish Question, we may soon have to start imagining the world without Israel.

And a sad world it will be, too.

I do wonder: if the unthinkable happens, how many Jews will Obama allow to emigrate to the United States?  If he allows some, will these “selections” be on the basis of ideological acceptability?  And as to the others, will he appoint Helen Thomas to organize their return to wherever they came from?

Woody, ya putz, call home!
